Volunteer

Volunteers are a vital part of CityCURE. We depend on the partnership and commitment of local churches as well as individuals to help us. Our work to help at-risk children would not be possible without the hundreds of volunteers that donate their precious time.

There are a variety of volunteer commitment levels and areas of need. Learn more about how you can get involved by visiting these volunteer pages:

Volunteer Spotlight

Randy Bruins receives the Volunteer of the Year AwardThis year at the CityCURE Banquet, we presented our third annual Matthew 5:16 Volunteer of the Year Award to Randy Bruins. Randy is a long time volunteer at our Winton Place location. Every Sunday Randy drives the CityCURE van around the neighborhood picking up kids and taking them to church. At Winton Community Free Church he leads youth worship and teaches preschoolers.

For the past several years Randy has mentored two at-risk boys who are brothers. He faithfully meets with them every Friday evening, and often takes them on Saturday outings. He has made an impact on the whole family including the boys’ father. Randy has become a mentor for him as well and assisted him with finding employment.

Randy’s commitment and persistence is making a real difference in the lives of the youth and their families in Winton Place. We thank you Randy! You are a true blessing to this ministry and to all the lives you touch!
